I had a Garmin GPS map60 before and was always losing signal in tree cover. Haven’t had that problem since I got the 60 CSx. Most of the features are the same exept for the compass and the altimeter. Color is nice also. Worth the extra money.

This device is a great add on for your TomTom. It has helped me avoid or minimize traffic WHILE DRIVING. I set it on automatic rerouting and I by-passed it all, on a recent trip!

I got this factory refurbished model for my hubby and he loved it. In the past I had to pay $99 a year for the voice command which now is included with this GPS. The mapping/tracking is faster and the screen is clear. I just purchased the Magellan Maestro 4700 with voice command for my car and this model 4250 works better and is easier to operate. I may get this one for myself. I have had three other Magellans and a TomTom … this one (4250) is the best so far.

Works like a charm. I was ready to get a new palm since I lost my original charger over six months ago, then I found this.
If you lost your original charger or simply want an extra one for the office, this one does the job.

Ok, let us first start with a review of which gps unit:
I was impressed with which gps unit plain and simple. When I placed my order, I had in in my hands within 3 days and the price was great. The key is looking for a seller with over a 100 feedback rating on Ebay. I’ve even included the top Ebay listings to which gps unit in this review to make it even easier on you.

Bought November 16, 2008. Died while in use July 16, 2009. It’s not worth the money. 8 months to the day. Think twice.

I have had this unit for over 2 years now. I works pretty well once it acquires the satellite signal. It takes about 1-4 minutes to lock on satellites.
I have had trouble with the power cradle as DC in pin somehow got bend and is now broken. It costs $70 for a new cradle, so I decided to get a DC jack and solder it. It seems I am not the only one with this problem, search google.
Would I buy this specific model again? No. Simply because their are newer, better and cheaper gps sets available now.
